Color Me Informed

A little in the dark about designers, models and major cities that make up the fashion industry? In keeping with my blog mission, shall you say, of musing, doling out style advice and getting people (highschoolers) more up to par with the ins and outs of The Industry, I have found two wonderful websites that are most useful!

Hispanic Designers is a brief yet reliable overview of some of just that: some of fashion’s most famous Hispanic Designers (Think Balenciaga, Blahnik, et al….). Más información aquí! It is always fun to know a little about the designers that you enjoy; it almost gives their work an extra dash of personality and gives insights into their thought process and motivation behind certain pieces.

Fashion Diary (not to be confused with Fashion Addict Diary) is a new and developing directory for official model websites, as well as gallery information and other useful resources. Read the diary here!

I hope you enjoy these. I had fun reading about some of fashion’s most recognized supermodels (and members of the last Vogue Ten) on FD and enjoyed discovering that Blahnik is indeed Hispanic. See? You learn something new everyday…..
